I am the editor of Ethos, a quarterly print magazine which tells the stories of ethical, sustainable and value-driven businesses from around the world. I work with the Ethos team to curate the content for each magazine; edit and proofread the writer submissions, and write features myself. Taking the magazine from concept, through design, edit and publication each quarter is an exhilarating experience, and has given me invaluable insight into the independent magazine publishing industry.
Outside of Ethos, I work as a copy editor for a range of print and online materials.
Ethos started its life online in 2015, and the following year we brought the print magazine to life through a successful Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign.
It was always our intention to create a printed magazine, which tells good stories of good people doing good business, from all corners of the globe.
Our stories are those of success, struggle and experimentation, from some of the biggest multinationals on the planet, to independent retailers and entrepreneurs.
With four issues printed each year, Ethos explores a plethora of themes, from food to farming, hospitality to healthcare, sole traders to sustainability giants; clothing, coworking, cosmetics and community collaboration.
